First-ever Southeast Arizona New Vintners Harvest Festival Set for September 21at Kief Joshua Vineyards

One-day festival to include 8+ new Arizona wineries, local eateries and live music

On September 21, 2019, Kief-Joshua Vineyards will be hosting the First Annual Southeast Arizona “New Vintners” Wine Growers Harvest Festival at their vineyard in Elgin, Arizona (located at 370 Elgin Road, Elgin, AZ 85611). Over 8 Arizona-based wineries and vineyards will be in attendance, pouring some of the state’s newest wines available, alongside two local bands on stage, gourmet food from local eateries and a variety of retail vendors.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, wine lovers from across the state are invited to enjoy wine tasting, new wine releases, meet-and-greets with new Arizona winemakers and local fare from The Culinary Graduate Food Truck / Dante's Fire and Russell Compton Texas BBQ.

Tickets are available at the door the day of the event for $15/person, which includes a souvenir glass and five wine tastings.  Participating wineries include:

The musical line up includes:

11 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Cat Daddy and the 12 Barz Blues Band

2 – 5 p.m.: Jeordie, daughter of pop-star Melanie “I Gotta Brand New Pair of Roller Skates.”

A variety of locally made products will also be available from retailers, including Untamed Confections, Sogno Toscano Olive Oils, Slash Z Photography, Hempworx, Udderly Natural Products, a local henna tattoo artist and more.

From Tucson: From Highway 10, take Rte 83 to Sonoita. Stay on 83 until you come to Elgin Road (mile marker 28) and turn left. Kief-Joshua Vineyards will be 3.7 miles on your left. We are two doors down from Callaghan Vineyards.

From Sierra Vista: I 90 to Rte 82 West, turn left on Upper Elgin Rd., the winery is 1 mile past the bridge on the right. We are open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tours and Private Tastings are available by appointment. Absolutely no alcohol can be brought onto the property. No exceptions will be made.

Kief-Joshua Vineyards will be partnering with Dante's Fire for a very special five-course harvest feast food and wine pairing on October 12th at 6 pm.  The cost is  $75 per person.  SPACE VERY LIMIITED RSVP TODAY

Course 1: Smoked Salmon in Potato with Boursin, Shrimp Calichi  Caprese Skewers
Course 2: Shrimp and Grits Cajun Spiced Gulf Shrimp,  Asparagus Spears, Herb Grits, Shrimp Butter Sauce

Course 3 : Chicken Osso Buco, Parmesan Polenta, Tomato Demi and Fried Onions

Course 4: Sous Vide Pork Loin, Smoked Pork Loin Slow Roasted, Roasted Carrot Puree, Bacon & Brussel Sprouts Cider Jus

Course 5 : Chocolate Mousse Cups, Coffee Reduction, Cardamom Whipped Cream, Fresh Fruit and Cocoa Nibs
